The Glasshouse Mountains are a group of 11 hills and rise up abruptly from the coast plain on the Sunshine Coast. The Glasshouse National Park is a heritage-listed national park in Queensland. There a number of different walking tracks that lead through open forests to lookouts offering panoramic views. There are challenging summit routes and opportunities for abseiling and rock climbing.

Mount Ninderry is nearby to Tranquil Views Bed & Breakfast. The pleasant walk up Mount Ninderry is approximately 5km return and provides some stunning views across the old cane fields and to the ocean. Leave some time to explore the top and perhaps pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the views some more!
Noosa National Park
Noosa National Park is on the doorstop of Noosa and the boardwalk provides a fantastic walk along the coast into the National Park. With lots of beaches along the way for an enticing dip or keep walking to see the views from the point. A popular spot it can get very busy so get up early and go for a sunrise walk!
Kondalilla Falls Kondalilla National Park
Just behind the Sunshine Coast, in the scenic Blackall Range, Kondalilla National Park is a cool mountain retreat. With stunning walking trails and waterfalls it is a picturesque spot for a walk, swim, or picnic lunch. The national park offers a number of walking tracks of different grades and levels. There is also a large grassed day use area perfect for a picnic lunch which is a short walk down the hill from the car park. Weather can affect this national park so always check the park’s conditions before you head off for a big hike.
